Bulacan Chapter-in-Training had their family day last May 1, 2008 (7am to 7pm) at Pascuallab Recreation Area in Balagtas Bulacan. Bro Ace Pascual and Sis Miel Morota hosted the event. After the short prayer/worship led by bro Jun Saret-PSD, all brothers and sisters, and their family members participated in different traditional Filipino games (palo sebo, siato, patintero, etc). Who thought that the games that our forefathers used to play do not need strategies and stamina? Bro John Garigarao seriously taught the teams what to do and how to win. With such coaching, the games turned wilder and exciting. Sorry for the bruises guys- that’s what serious competition often brings! The series of games tired and starved everyone! Then, comes the most awaited part of the activity- LUNCH TIME, when every family shared their special delicacies to other families. I am sure, food was plenty and great…no leftover for the cats to finish. Anyway, the brothers and sisters spent the rest of the afternoon as they wish…swimming, boating, playing basketball or lazing around the beautiful resort like place. The PALS group was also organized for the upcoming PALS LSS (on May 24 and 25).
