Christmas Party & Lord’s Day Celebration for BCLP 8

BCBP Bulacan Central Chapter and its North Outreach (Pulillan) had a joint Lord’s Day felowship on December 3, 2011 at PascualLab auditorium to celebrate Christmas and welcome the BCLP 8 graduates. PSD’s Jun Saret and wife – Nancy Saret, organized the event with a theme taken from 2Corinthians 10:16-17 “We drank from one cup…we ate from one bread…showing we are on body”. Every family brought their favorite viand and shared food to everyone. As a treat, BCLP 8 course leader – Ferdie & Daisy Rivera, contributed one whole lechon to thank God for a successful CLP. They gave out glass pictures of service couples and CLP participants as a way of thanking them for responding to God’s call.
After dinner, BCBP Bulacan PALS, led by Paul Gerard Saret and his co-emcees: Princess Agustin, Divine Bautista, Abbie Coralde, and Gebert & Raevee Justiniano, hosted a high energy entertainment night. Each discussion group presented their talents through creative songs, dances and enterpretative hand rendition. The children were not to be outdone by their parents. The little boys and girls opened the night with at modern dance number while Paolo Constantino sang impromptu to everyone’s delight. The PALS emcees played games and perked up the audience’ enthusiasm thru their impromptu jokes and unscripted wacky frolics on stage. The CLP 8 service team showed their small people antic and governance team presented an 80′s dance medley.
Chapter Head – Noel Ignacio closed the night with his Christmas exhortation that we are all “works in progress” through Christ Jesus who dwells in us. BCBP Bulacan, as a whole, is growing together – both spiritually and in number, because God wants to use us in bringing His living word to the marketplace. This Christmas party was truly a big family affair – bothers & sisters in Christ, children, parents and grandparents, all celebrated their unity as one people…called together to share God’s love.
