Dobleng Double-Up!

Dobleng-Double up Celebration – BCBP:

BCBP Bulacan Chapter and Pulilan Outreach had a DOUBLE-Up Christmas Celebration on December 12, 2009 at Fortune Restaurant, Malolos City. It was actually Double Double-up because, not only was it attended by the two houses of Kuya Noel Ignacio, the event was also a double activity- Joint Christmas Breakfast Fellowship and Joint Christmas Party…so coined Brotherhood Christmas Breakfast and Party in one, acronym BCBP in 1. Emcees- Bro Ace Pascual and Sis Miel Morota, contaminated the crowd with

their gladness.

Furthermore…we heard two testimonies from soon to be married: Bro Gimbet Santiago and Sis Esmie Joaquin. Their theme came from John 15:9- “As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you. Now remain in my love”. We heard how the Lord nurtured the love of Gimbet and Esmie. After their mini-sharing, Sisters Roselle dela Cruz and Imee Basilio led the games and raffle. Fortune Restaurant, through the management of Sis Tes Roque, served a very delicious breakfast feast! It was a joyful celebration of God’s love!

In their separate Christmas messages, Bro Noel (Bulacan Chapter Head) and Bro Gaine Dusaban (Pulilan Outreach Head), exhorted that we should all grow in intimacy with Jesus and with one another as we stay in BCBP. They prayed that God would enkindle in our hearts a burning desire to know Him better, love Him more, and receive Him as a precious gift so that we could give His love away to others as well. We should be energized for the coming year through a heart of praise, so that God’s joy would be our very strength.

BCBP Bulacan Breakfast 9th Anniversary

BCBP Bulacan celebrated its 9th year of hosting the breakfast fellowship on October 17 at Club Royale Resort, Malolos Bulacan. We recalled that Bro. Chris & Sis Techie Dy of the Greenhills Chapter sponsored the first Breakfast of the BCBP Marilao Outreach in October 14, 2000 at Arks Restaurant in Marilao, Bulacan. In April 2002, CAMANAVA Chapter continued nurturing the outreach and became instrumental in the formation of the homegrown Bulacan leaders. Then in October 2004, the second venue was started at Max’s Restaurant Guiguinto where it continues up to this day. In all, more than 200 brothers and sisters had attended the 6 CLPs, which were held at Arks Restaurant and Pascual Laboratories. The Lord blessed the once upon a time Marilao Outreach to become BCBP Bulacan Chapter early this year. It now has a breakfast outreach in Café Narciso sa Pulilan Bulacan.

Bro Pancho and Sis Nette Jamlig, currently the RCD of Central Luzon and former Chapter Head of CAMANAVA graced the occassion. 11 first timers also attended the especial breakfast which was emceed by Bros Sol Catada and Dexter Villanueva, and Sisters Imee and Roselle. The theme this year was taken from Isaiah 43:21- “This people I have formed for Myself; they shall declare my praise”. That being so, 3 home grown sharers; namely: brothers Franz Morota, Alex Coralde and Ferdie Rivera shared how God had transformed them to be men of faith whe serve the Lord wholeheartedly. All of them were invited to the BCBP Bulacan Breakfast; at some point were reluctant joining the BCBP. But they were touched deeply by Jesus and now felt compelled to proclaim God’s faithfulness. They briefly shared their own experiences of the Lord and His working in their hearts and minds.

The breakfast head- Bro Ferdie, also took the chance to recognize some brothers who made outstanding services in the BCBP Bulacan (Guiguinto) Breakfast.
